#7: The Munsters and Santa give thanks, early 1960s

The earliest video we could find of the parade features the Munsters (who would probably feel more at home at a creepy Halloween bash) and a cameo from Santa Claus. With nothing remotely Thanksgiving-ish in sight, we were half-expecting a visit from the Easter Bunny. Identity issues aside, the clip shows the excitement behind the holiday events of yore and just how far the event has come since.
