#1: The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade gets rick-rolled, 2008

Innocent bystanders and home viewers thought the float for Cartoon Network's children's program "Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends" would bring more of the same dull, kid-friendly songs and dance. They were wrong.

Just when the parade begins to succumb to holiday drudgery, out pops Rick Astley — the man, the myth, the legend — with an uplifting version of "Never Gonna Give You Up." America, you just got rick-rolled by a bunch of puppets.
