Among the Oscar shorts, documentaries take the prize

So which talents will we hear from in the future? Perhaps Luke Matheny, an NYU student who wrote, directed, and stars in "God of Love," playing a goofy singer who falls for his band's cute drummer and pens a "Dear God" note to win her heart. There's enough wit and vitality here to make it likely that Matheny will one day appear at SXSW with a slacker feature.
