MICKEY DOLENZ of the MONKEES is dropping an album of Carole King covers in August. "It's a very exciting project," he told billboard.com, as if to convince himself.

The DANDY WARHOLS are releasing a greatest-hits package in August. They've always been kind of a singles band, so maybe, but . . . even if I had a problem where I couldn't hear "Boys Better" as often as I wanted — a problem that, in the information age, just doesn't exist — that wouldn't be a problem worth throwing money at.
