And, while smack-dab in the midst of this indie-roots/folk/Americana hot streak 'round here, the Wippets are content to stay relatively close to home.

"We love Providence and have a lot of fun runnin' around Rhode Island," Martin said. "New York and Boston occasionally, but I think there's a lifetime of gigs to play right here."
