"I think there's no question that it's by far the best situation we've ever been in," Leithauser acknowledges. "We've gotten ourselves into so many situations over the years where your gut is saying, 'I don't want to do this,' and then somebody is like, 'No, look, this is why in the music industry you do this, and this happens, and you just gotta do this.' And then afterward it's like, 'You know what? That sucked, and I knew it would suck, and there's no point in doing it, and this guy doesn't know what the fuck he's talking about.' So that's just one thing I've learned."
Sounds like victory.
