Pollard still turns out as many as a half-dozen albums a year — by now, he's a pro with a recognizable bag of tricks. This can be a good thing. Last month's Our Cubehouse Still Rocks, by his latter-day band Boston Spaceships, is full of confident swagger; the only thing really missing is that thrill of discovery. Or maybe a thrill of rediscovery — which we just might get now that the club is back open.
