Alpha Cormega

By CHRIS FARAONE  |  December 14, 2010

The last thing he's concerned about is decade-old static. "A lot of my early raps were written as a drug dealer, or an inmate who's about to come home, or as a street nigga. When I first got back from jail, you could never have told me that I would do shows in Sweden, or that my rhymes would take me to the palaces in England, and the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Because of all that, I'm humbled just to still be here — there are underground artists who never got a shot at any of this."
