On stage, the Czech-born Lenkadu marries textured audio with manipulated visuals that complement her live performances. In addition to singing and playing myriad instruments throughout her set, she processes and mixes the sounds through pedals and Ableton Live and triggers effects through her computer. The result is world music that floats through crisp air and glides through rain forests, an experimental and sometimes tribal musical output further enhanced by the images she constructs in the background. "I run visuals either straight from Ableton or sending MIDI or OSC into VDMX, my video software. I pre-edit all my visuals from my own and pirated material in Final Cut Pro."
