Turn-of-the-century indie trio the Sheila Divine reunite by generating more than $5000 for a new album through Kickstarter. The total fan contribution hits $13,000, and new material emerges. Psych trio Night Fruit drop a handful of demos as the Triangles EP, a fresh collection of magnetically ambient-rock tunes lifted by the hypnotic drone of Amanda Dellevigne. It's now the summer of psych, as Jinsen Liu (28 Degrees Taurus) relaunches the Deep Heaven Now festival, with dozens of locals — Doomstar, Static of the Gods, MMOSS — getting together over two noisy stages at P.A.'s Lounge and Precinct in Somerville.
