ASOBI SEKSU + BRAHMS | Brighton Music Hall | February 25 | Long before the shoegaze revival made every band with distortion pedals add the words "psych" and "ambient" to their press bios, New York's Asobi Seksu were busy creating kaleidoscopic sonic rainbows. Now, with fifth studio-album Fluorescence (Polyvinyl) set to drop in February, Yuki Chikudate and James Hanna should finally rise from the shadows. Brooklyn's Brahms (no relation to Johannes) create textured electronic patterns and waves wired directly from the mad-man brain of leader Cale Parks. So if you have drugs, save some for this.
