Reks has no problem saying what he feels about whom and what, despite what anyone may think. He named his comeback disc Grey Hairs, for spit's sake, and he's as proud of his slick saliva as he is of his statesman status. If someone were to snap a diss track at him, he would surely eat dude's four square meals and then some. But until an MC steps into that bear trap, he's perfectly content to be in a class of his own. "I took my time away, so I really feel like my position in this game is still being developed. At the same time, I don't feel like I'm in competition with any of these other artists out there, or that I'm trying to take anybody's spot. I want a cult following that respects what I do — that's the main objective. Really — I want to be able to travel overseas 30 years from now and say that I was with my homies in those places doing what I love and sharing that with the world."
