If Ghettosocks was from the states, he'd either be an MTV darling or a marginalized nerdcore practitioner. But since he's Canadian, the hella humorous Halifax MC gets to dabble on both sides of the underground-mainstream divide, and was even nominated for a Juno Award this past year. Best of all, the jokingly bespectacled Ghettosocks messes with the Peanuts and Corn camp, which is absolutely one of the most slept-on imprints in proletariat fringe-hop. | Ghettosocks website
