Texas Battle League

SXSW hip-hop wouldn't be the same without Austin vagrant Dubb Sicks and his gang of battle-happy Texas cats. After years of holding court on street corners and in storefronts, these witty punchline goons got themselves an official showcase (of course they'll still be representing on the blacktop as well). Anyone who thinks that southern artists exclusively deliver drunk, chopped, and screwed rhymes are in for huge surprises – these competitors are on their toes, strapped with arsenals of snaps and comebacks. Not to be missed. | Texas Battle League website
