For Matt Martin, abnormal is normal

By CHRIS CONTI  |  September 14, 2011

Martin's musical leanings could be filed under For Acquired Tastes Only, and that suits him just fine.

"The turnout and feedback we've received at the Apartment shows me there is a group of people that are very receptive to music that's a little abnormal," he said. "The response that keeps me going is 'I'm always interested in what's coming up next.' "

Check out the Psychedelic Clown Car open mic/jam session free of charge every Wednesday at the Apartment, 373 Richmond Street, Providence (401.228.7222). HIS HOLINESS Martin busts a move.
