At the Convention Hall: Public Enemy were energetic, enthusiastic, and appreciative as they played most of ‘Fear of a Black Planet’ and more. Between songs, Chuck D and Flava Flav ran the lenghth of the stage toching the outstretched hands of audience members. and expounded on the importance of the Occupy Wall Street and other protests taking place around the country. They asked the audience to hold up their fists and encouraged them to ‘Fight the Power.’ It was powerful and uplifting — definitely a highlight of the weekend for me.
