MAGOS HERRERA | The Spanish lyrics and the folk-dance rhythms peg Mexican singer Herrera as "world music." But her latest disc on Sunnyside (México Azul) and her show at Scullers in September (with pianist Luis Perdomo, bassist Hans Glawischnig, and drummer Alex Kautz) made clear that this is one of the finest jazz singers out there, and a mesmerizing live performer.
