The Big Hurt: What we'll hear — or not — in 2012

But, hey, 2012 might be the year! Or. . . .

Once, I was eating lunch with some friends and I did an incredible Howard Stern impression that wowed all assembled. My boys asked for a repeat performance, but I refused; by sheer dumb luck I'd done it perfectly once, with witnesses, and I'd only fuck it up if I tried it again. Now I'll go down in history as having a legendary Howard Stern voice. Maybe that's what Jay's been thinking. His last commercial release was the 2009 online-only "Exhibit C" single, one of the best rap tracks of its decade. His status will be secured forever if he ends on that note, right?
