"If we're a city, there should be dozens and dozens of labels, and not only that, but labels trying to do stuff on a national scale," says Bond. "There's a real honesty to what [these bands] are doing and if I have the ability to help them in any way, regardless of what that means, I wanna do that."

The group jokes about how Creaturos should take up more of their time than it does, since this band is currently their main project, but it's through their refracted focus, a dedication to the community and an amalgam of goals, that they're finding a singular purpose. "I understand having focus in one band," says Bond. "But I think that you can bring so much more when you give yourself perspective with how different stuff is made. It takes you out of your head."

Adds Gralla: "The only thing that is going to make you better is having an outlet to do all of the things that you can't do in one band. Because otherwise you're just going to resent the one thing that you do in that band. Then you'll come back and be like, yeah, this is awesome."
