Perhaps, perhaps: but I think I speak for a lot of punk fans when I say that I'm glad that, through thick and thin, Miller and Co. have spent the last 30-some-odd-years teaching us anyway, through the rad jams inspired by their Positive Mental Attitude (or "P.M.A." as the track on their homonymous 1980 debut goes). If the band's oddness made them stick out, it didn't bother them one bit. Says Miller: "You don't want to preach to the choir, you want to bring your message to people who don't know."
