"December Wolves is how we got 212," says Ross. "We were sharing the old Denby [Road] space with them and Hirudinea." It's also where Deathgod Messiah got their start: "I was working as a mechanic, shoplifting and taking my lunch breaks in 212," says Slarcus, "and Ninkaszi and Kinslayer [of Panzerbastard] needed a bassist for their primitive black metal project." Hräsvelg notes the social ties of 212, "be it writing music or drinking in the practice space. When you are around people you respect as musicians you tend to end up writing music together. I think that's where the stylistic differences come into play. . . . It may not always come to fruition but it's never boring."
