The Thrillhouse guys have been catalysts for the successful Metal Night at Dusk (a low-key venue and one of the city's best) held every Wednesday. I asked Curley about the notable influx of badass metal bands on the RI radar. "Local bands like Lolita Black, Bog of the Infidel, Noose, Witchking, I Destroyer, Haxen, Suffering Bastard, and many more are shredding this city to pieces," he said. "Metal Night at Dusk has been really successful, and there are a lot of great, heavy bands around all playing shows together, so hopefully that bond gets even stronger."
