These are truly in no order, but sure we can call Hot Chip #1. This track grew on me hard, so to speak. The good ship DP can pick me up anytime. When the guitar kicks in during ‘Offspring’ I’m surprised every time. Goal for 2013, got to have Erika and Heartless Bastards play in my yard. The Grizz pull a Radiohead Jr., and not in a ‘you lost me on ‘Amnesiac’ way. Killed this tune on Jools Holland. Sea Wolf is four minutes of pure radio gold. SMD deliver perfecto electronico. Just don’t make them say ‘Boom Goes The Marmalade’. I could hear ‘Lord Knows’ another 268 times and still enjoy it. ‘Knock Knock’ was my top video of 2012 also. Hard to pick one favorite from Andrew Birds stellar album. Nora Jones is my curveball. Danger Mouse produces her singing about slaying the lover of her significant other. True story? No, but you get the feeling she could choke the life outta the b*tch for real.
