After one of the more unique music-related Kickstarter campaigns came to fruition, Trails did, indeed, get Kool G Rap to contribute to their album on “Ink Spatter.” Which is good for them. And if those 28 seconds got you to listen to the full album, Anvils and Pianos, well, good for you. That means you had a chance to hear one of the best combinations of aggressive rap and intelligent production ever released in Portland. After a couple of promising EPs, the team of producer TheLin and rapper Syn the Shaman found here just the right way to celebrate
