Likely this mass critical “party music” diagnosis of what was supposed to be a serious record (or was it?) will not derail its underlying missions, since the “unity through music” mantra has long been synonymous with the more private “grind whoevah” motives of barland. Who loses with Apollo depends on how seriously you take it — even as spurned bloggers at their desks cringe between their earbuds, the short shorts of Faneuil Hall inch upward with every enthusiastic bounce. It’s a wide world indeed.
