After following his ears and eyes for 20 years, Johnson has a roster that's become more like a large family — with Svenonius as its loudest, most sporadically seen cousin. And even as the industry around it falters and fumbles, K seems content to do as it has always done, sticking to simple principles, thoughtful presentation, "passionate revolt," and adherence to a key chunk of its own mission statement: "We are not in the entertainment biz."
