Headbangers unite for a big one on FRIDAY (the 18th) at Lupo's (401.331.5876), with six bands on the bill led by locals JOINT DAMAGE, THE EMPIRE SHALL FALL, and ACEROSE ($12 at the door). Club Hell hosts a 6 pm show with SOUNDWAVE STICKUP and THESE GREEN EYES opening for THE COMING WEAK, who just released a new disc. Then head upstairs for SHRYNE, FOR THE LOVE OF SLOANE, and JILLIAN STELLAR at Jerky's Bar (401.621.2244). And on WEDNESDAY (the 23rd), Lincoln's STALEMATE host their CD release show at the Blackstone, with friends ROZ RASKIN & THE RICE CAKES and BEAT SURRENDER leading off (401.726.2181).
