Tight but loose

As for the ever-popular EP format, Preliasco said the benefits are twofold. "For a band as new as us, the EP makes a concise statement to the listener, and obviously are cheaper to record," he said, "which is important seeing that we have no money."

Sliwinksi summed up what attendees can look forward to when Glowkid take the AS220 stage around 10 pm: "Expect energetic awkwardness, thick licks, and crafty songs."

Glowkid also will appear on WBSR (88.1-FM or BSRlive.com) on February 4 at 9 pm.
