8. JASON MICHAEL CARROLL, "HURRY HOME" | I think my good mood just turnt a corner. Here we have a joyless country melodrama about a dad reunited with his runaway daughter. A real worst-case scenario of country bathos, it attempts to jerk tears but only jerks barf.
9. WAKA FLOCKA FLAME, "O LET'S DO IT" | How dare Waka Flocka appropriate the title of one of Shakespeare's most romantic sonnets for such a vile purpose? This dude so transparently sucks at the vocation of rap that I had to look him up and figure out what the deal is. The deal is that he's the son of a rap-label exec. Yep.
10. AVENTURA, "DILE AL AMOR" | I'll go ahead and admit that I lack the cultural breadth to tell you whether this sucks in the context of Dominican bongo-pop. But, hey, for what it's worth, I liked it.
