The supporters may think their hearts are in the right place supporting a local business, but if they are so eager to indulge in margaritas and tacos that they are willing to overlook the evidence suggesting that the Fuentes brothers not only broke the law in knowingly hiring undocumented workers but then treated them inhumanely, their support comes at the expense of humanity and justice. It just leaves a bad taste.

If all the charges against all the players are true, the workers did wrong and so did the Fuentes brothers. But to support the ringleaders of the crime and ignore the plight of the workers is symptomatic of how self-centered we can be and how easily we'll ignore injustice for the convenience of what we want, be it food, drink, clothes, or something else.
