Still, the older I get, I wonder how realistic that is. If our towns only tolerate those of difference without truly getting to know them, how many more Sarah Norrises will grow up in Maine thinking it’s all just talk, until they end up as assault victim on the news? I don’t know the answer, but I don’t intend my daughter to be one of them.
