Deer Tick and the Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.

What’s something you love about rhode island?
Beaches, fresh seafood, especially oysters and beer!

What’s the most recent book you have or haven’t finished?
La Incredible y Triste Historia de la Candida Erendida Y de su Abuela Desalmada, by Gabriel Garcia Marquez — a gift from my mother who tells me it’s so sad, it’ll make you laugh.

Like anything about the fall season?
Oh yes, all the things I missed while out in San Francisco; MacIntosh apples, Maine lobster, and the leaves turning color.

What’s your favorite bar and why?
Talk of the Town for drinking, Black Rep for dancing.

What’s your favorite candy?
M&M’s, ever since Richard Goulis’s son, Owen, told me, “When I go on the potty, I get an M&M.”

Any celebs or actors you find interesting these days?
I adore Ricky Gervais from The Office (UK), and those guys from the Flight of the Conchords.

If you had free airfare anywhere, where would you go?
Back to Spain, Italy, and Germany — for a whole month!
