Bridget had attended Brown University in the early '80s and she and her husband-to-be, Randy (now divorced), were friends and regulars at the Comediac movie shows at the old One-Up nightclub above Steeple Street. Bridget had celluloid in her veins in the sense that her grandfather was the legendary producer/director Mervyn LeRoy and her great-grandfather one of the Warner brothers. She grew up living in the Dakota and had a window into the lives of the showbiz elite that surrounded her.

Her wedding party was an unforgettable event. Jorge kept bumping into other guests like Alan King, Morley Safer, Adolph Green, and Yoko Ono. Young Sean Lennon was best friends with Bridget's younger brother Max, and Jorge remembers haggling with Sean about whether he would give the younger Lennon a dinosaur pin he was wearing, created by the great Rhode Island designer, Pat Grando.

Jorge's night at the Tavern On the Green has to go down as one of the major surreal evenings in his life.
