Bill Van Siclen reported in Tuesday's BeloJo that Hope has accepted a position as director of the Norton Museum of Art in West Palm Beach, Florida. Obviously her many friends and supporters in the Biggest Little wish her the best. And there is the added benefit that any knife wounds that may be lingering in the region of her back should quickly heal in the Florida sunshine.
. . . to Mark Arsenault, novelist, ace reporter, and Casa Diablo regular, arguably the only one outside of Patrick Kennedy's family and inner circle who knew that the congressman would be stepping down. Mark had been working on a Kennedy cover story for Rhode Island Monthly for a few months when Patches decided to tell him about his decision not to run. When asked why he thought Kennedy chose to confide in him, Arsenault responded, "Because I listen."
