Bust busted

By MATT TAIBBI  |  June 10, 2010

Hard up for cash
Here's another scary trend worth paying attention to: University of Kansas defensive tackle Jamal Greene was busted last month for a home-invasion armed robbery, in which he allegedly entered a home with former Kansas linebacker Vernon Brooks, made two people get on the floor at gunpoint, and robbed the place.

We've already seen similar, Clockwork Orange–style home bust-ins this year involving Seton Hall hoopsters and football players from the Citadel. Give Green 80 points, and stay tuned for more on this disturbing sports-crime genre.
