Review: Singularity

I don't blame the developers for wanting to steal from the best of the best, but the sad part is that they left their one new idea — the TMD glove — in the dust. They could've created a Portal-like game with increasingly difficult puzzles. There aren't many post-apocalyptic-wasteland puzzle games on the market. Singularity could have been the next Myst!

Instead, it's the gaming equivalent of a summer popcorn movie. It doesn't take chances or reinvent the wheel, and, with its corny Russian accents and time travel inconsistencies, it doesn't take itself too seriously. It'll help get you through the slow months while you wait for bigger titles to hit later on.
