The most welcome change is the new knife mechanic. A flick of the wrist slashes the knife at the nearest target, making it more useful than before. Nothing was lost in the translation to the Wii; on balance, a bit was gained.
Resident Evil 4 belongs on a short list of titles that transcend the medium to become genuine experiences, and not just games.
