9. Alec Mason of Red Faction: Guerrilla

Red Faction: Guerrilla is all about revolution and inflicting wanton destruction, so protagonist Alec Mason is, predictably, a hulking mass of man-power. We suspect his swarthy scarred face, long coat, and hammer-slinging antics are meant to remind us of Communist Russia (along with the game's title: Red Faction). The Cold War never made us feel so hot!
