Channel 7 General Manager Debunks Sale Rumor

Okay, ignore the previous post. Channel 7 spokeswoman Ginny Lund promptly returned Media Log's phone call and said that station general manager Mike Carson, in no uncertain terms, shot down the rumored sale of sister station WSVN.

"ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE" is what Carson said, according to Lund. So deep six that speculation in Miami.

What The guy who knew... said. Newsblues is no better than Drudge as far as accuracy is concerned. That is, he's no more reliable than the people who are feeding him rumors, or doing the actual journalism behind the stories he posts. The person who started this rumor should be horsewhipped - and Dan Hausle should do a live shot outside the hospital where he is recovering from his injuries. :)
