I love the on-purpose misspelling of Mark's last name. VERY clever.

Actually, it's probably more like a ubiquitous qualifier, such as "...28-year old GM Theo Epstein" or "convicted felon Martha Stewart".

Funny, the Lucy Parsons Center wasn't mentioned when Mark was named Ombudsman for the Globe. They probably thought people would accuse them (and him) of having an agenda. Oh well, it could have been worse. They could have made him a fashion writer.

I know O'Reilly is a more marginal figure lately, and i suspect he'll fade off in influence till some inevitable jigjag into mangy blue-collar populism. but it's serio-comical to hear those phrases "committed leftist" etc. delivered by him in that desperately matter-of-fact tone. funny cos its such an obvious crutch for him. serious because it's the tone of the komissar.
