In all important ways, same-sex marriage would differ in no way from marriage between a man and a woman, and it in no way diminishes my marriage to let them do it. We don't forbid people to marry because they don't want children or cannot have them. We don't forbid people to marry because they been through a divorce or even multiple divorces. And yet, in those examples, we see people who theoretically trample what some would suggest marriage stands for traditionally.
Homosexuals aren't out to stomp on marriage but to be treated fairly, and it's time to stop punishing consenting adults who want to commit to each other.
