The show goes on

By EMILY PARKHURST  |  February 11, 2009

Although the ticket prices for what the PSO is calling "An Evening with Renée Fleming" will certainly put you out (they start at $65), the opportunity to hear such talent in a small hall like the Merrill Auditorium is a treat not likely to be repeated any time soon. The performance is an endowment benefit concert, the first of its kind for a symphony desperately trying to make ends meet.

"This is a hallmark event," says Moody. "This is an orchestra that plays at a level befitting of an artist like Fleming."
