A.A. Bondy, fresh off recent tours with Elvis Perkins’s and Conor Oberst’s bands, continues to raise his increasingly high profile with a slew of headlining shows, including one at
Space Gallery tonight. Bondy’s ambient country-roots rock is both professional and wounded (and recommended if you enjoyed J. Tillman), and ought to sound beautiful with a full band’s backing. Opening the 8:30 pm show at 538 Congress St. are
Wesley Allen Hartley and the Traveling Trees (the new project of the former Dead End Armory frontman) and
Vikesh Kapoor. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door; call 207.828.5600 for more.
