Clothes call

By BILL RODRIGUEZ  |  July 16, 2008

Some of the women stand out as well. Georgia and Harold’s wife Vicki (Christine Teglia) — he’s so terrified that she’ll leave him if he can’t keep her in Prada that he hasn’t told her he’s been fired — get to reprise the sweet “You Rule My World” that their husbands sang earlier. As the only showbiz pro around, their piano player Jeanette (Trudi Miller) gets to roll up her sleeves and play the traditional tough old broad, belting out “Jeanette’s Number” in fine Ethel Merman style.

Maitland is an actor with extensive Off-Broadway and regional credits, and he also is the executive director of the Courthouse Center For the Arts. He has a half-dozen more stage productions on the calendar this year, and if he keeps the standards up to what we’re getting in The Full Monty, South County theatergoers have a lot to look forward to.
