UNREAL

Dear Dr. Lovemonkey,

I have been thinking about dressing in "chador" for some time now. I am not Muslim, but this look really appeals to me. It's actually a fashion statement, not a political or religious statement. My only concern is would this be considered blasphemous or somehow insulting to Islam?

Trixie

Dear Trixie,

I certainly understand why someone would not want a fatwa on their ass. On the other hand, what I don't understand is how you, Trixie, the non-Muslim fashionista, would think that I wouldn't recognize a letter that is screaming "FAKE!" and "BOGUS!" There are certain, shall we say, red flags that appear when one receives a FAKE letter. Yours are proudly billowing at full staff. That's entertainment.
