Interview: Monty Are I

By CHRIS CONTI  |  February 25, 2009

What can fans expect at Club Hell, and why play such a small room?
We played the Living Room about 100 times and we normally headline Lupo's, but we wanted to play a smaller, more intimate show. Playing Lupo's can sometimes make you feel disconnected from the crowd, so we wanted to forgo the giant stage and barrier for a show that's so close you can literally touch it. Fans can expect the same ridiculous amounts of energy from us, only this time we'll be sweating all over you instead of 30 feet away. We wouldn't normally practice four hours a day for a month straight, but home shows are special. We're going all out.
