But, surely, had the great poet of the Tokugawa shogunate been aware of the pernicious Pinstripers — who arrive at Fenway for the first time this season on Friday — he would have daubed his brush pen in blackest ink, using the pellucid lyric verse he pioneered to poke fun at the team we all love to hate. Yes, it's time for an abridged version of the Phoenix's annual April tradition: Sox-Yanks haiku.
