Attractions include kiddie rides, an arcade, and an antique carousel. Visitors can also visit the seashore, ample picnic grounds, and other recreational facilities. Rowboats and equipment can be rented for ocean fishing, and two beaches are available for swimming. Open daily from 11 am to 11 pm. Free parking and admission.

Formerly known as Riverside Park, the 235-acre property has been part of the Six Flags chain for many years and, with more than 60 rides, is easily the largest amusement park in New England. Roller coasters include the "floor-less" Batman: The Dark Knight and the 22-story Superman: Ride of Steel, rated the number-one coaster on the planet. The 2007 season offers two new attractions, Tony Hawk's Big Spin roller coaster and the Wiggle World kiddie area. Family-friendly, non-spinning attractions include a 1950s-style soda shop, live Dixieland and rock music, and the usual glut of food stands. From June 26 through Sep 1, open weekdays from 10:30 am to 9 pm, on Sat from 10 am to 10 pm, and on Sun 10:30 am to 9 pm. Non-peak-season hours vary. Admission $49.99, $29.99 for children 36 to 53 inches tall, free for children under 36 inches. Parking $15.

Attractions include the Pirate's Plunge, Squid Row, Harpoon Lagoon, other tube rides, and the relatively dry pastime of miniature golf. Also check out Mussel Beach, a 15,000-square-foot wave pool, and the new Captain Kid's Island. Open for the pre-season June 7,8, 14, and 15 from 10 am to 5 pm. Open June 21 through 30 from 10 am to 6 pm, July 1 through Aug 22 from 10 am to 6:30 pm, and Aug 23 through Labor Day from 10 am to 6 pm. All hours are weather permitting. Regular season (after June 21) admission $30, $20 after 3:30 pm, $15 after 4:30 pm, $15 for seniors and children less than 48 inches tall. Group rates available online.
