Pine Street Inn

The name says it all: though technically a shelter, the PINE STREET INN treats its clients as guests, with dignity and respect. Men and women from all walks of life find their way to the Inn to get back on their feet, initially seeking shelter and sustenance. Headquartered in the South End, the Inn provides more than those basics, however. It’s known for its job-skills training, literacy training, and mental-illness outreach programs. Name recognition, a $26 million budget, and well-established volunteer programs keep the Inn running like a well-oiled machine.
