Best Place For Yoga

Blissful Monkey Yoga Studio

It always struck us as some kind of sick joke that there was a gym above New York–bagel hot spot H&H. Imagine the temptation. Now picture this: you’re struggling to hold your downward dog when right next door stands a creamy, inviting J.P. Licks. And yet BLISSFUL MONKEY YOGA STUDIO draws scores of devotees whose willpower over tasty ice cream is astonishing. It’s one of the only yoga spots around to offer prenatal classes. A handful of noontime slots are a measly $10 a pop. And the studio welcomes beginners and pros alike (as well as children: three classes cater to the under-five set). Om. Just don’t ask for sprinkles on top.
